Numerical study of TRIP transformation in 35NCD16 steel-effects of plate orientation and some criteria

This study aims to analyze the effect of thermo mechanical coupling damage in presence a phase change (austenite/martensite) 35NCD16 steel. The impact increasing traction load, accompanied by martensitic transformation on scale single grain with boundary has been studied. prediction induced plasticity (TRIP) was evaluated taking into account following parameters: twenty shear directions plates, two values deformation energetic and thermodynamics criteria for getting order elastoplastic behavior areas first case (martensitic plate boundary) elastic second case. numerical calculation is carried out using finite element method (FEM), implemented Zebulon code. developed approach validated available experimental results reported literature. showed that estimation TRIP given energetics (γ0 = 0.16) are closer experiment results.
